I have this dear friend who recently started her own blog. She is so full of light and encouragement and has such a gift for storytelling! Check out her blog at Power of Presence.

She was also the first person I ever trusted (other than family) to watch my little girl. She herself has two little girls, and both of their names start with the letter “P”. She calls them her “Sweet P’s” and rightly so. Even though there is quite the age gap between them and my little girl, they all get along so well!

I was (and am) incredibly grateful that we can swap childcare. I like to surprise her family with some treats as a thank you, which was what gave me the idea for these sweet pea mini cupcakes.

SweetPeaCupcake

The sweet peas were created with just two ingredients! I rolled out a green tootsie roll (just like you would cutout cookies) and inserted a few green m&m’s. Fold the tootsie roll over to create your pea!

Valentine’s Day is almost here! Be on the lookout for some Valentine Cupcakes to make an appearance on here, as well as a Valentine craft.

Those are very cute! Isn’t it nice when we can find friends that we trust as much as family?

You know, I was thinking the same thing! I thought about waiting to post them until closer to St. Patty’s Day, but oh well. They’re good anytime!
