This pumpkin burger didn’t involve carving. But it did involve brownies. And brownies are good.
1 mini pumpkin
1 batch of brownies
6 yellow & 6 green Tootsie Rolls
white Tic Tacs
Bake up a batch of brownies. (Over on my facebook page, Linnycakes Blog, some friends recommended the Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate brownie mix. It’s scary good.) Use a round cookie cutter to cut out a “burger”.
Take a rolling pin to the Tootsie Rolls. Roll the green Tootsies extra thin and fold for the “lettuce”. Place over the “cheese”. Top with a few juju coins for “tomatoes”.
Lastly, I used melting candy to attach a few Tic Tacs as the “sesesame seeds”.
The only problem with this, is it isn’t much for decoration. Not long after I took pictures, it was eaten. :) (I did place some tin foil between the pumpkin and the sweets.)
To carve or not to carve? What’s your Halloween tradition?
